The Tanzania DNA Day Summit 2026 is organized by the Government Chemist Laboratory Authority (GCLA), under the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with national and international partners.

This historic summit will convene policymakers, scientists, clinicians, innovators, development partners and private sector leaders to advance the implementation of the National DNA & Genomics Roadmap aligned with Tanzania Vision 2050 and national development priorities.

The Summit Secretariat is hosted by the Government Chemist Laboratory Authority (GCLA).

Summit Date: 23–24 April 2026

Venue: Jakaya Kikwete Convention Centre (JKCC), Dodoma, Tanzania

Format: In-person summit with selected sessions livestreamed.

All submitted abstracts will undergo review by the Scientific Review Committee.

Selected abstracts may be published in the Official Summit Abstract Book.

The Summit will also feature high-level policy dialogue, scientific sessions, technology exhibitions, and strategic partnership platforms.
